ell, bake a cake and call me cookie if your new back-to-school fashions weren't inspired by the Voice, himself! Of course, you might know he'd be wearing a four-in-hand tie and a conservative suit on the day we photographed him at the Hit Parade rehearsal, but he admitted to us a weakness for bow ties, sleeveless sweaters, and loafers jackets--just like    the ones you'll find in your favorite department. And—after our photography date, we'll admit a weakness for Frank. Whether you like his voice or not (no, we're not going to fight it out here), you'd like Frank himself, for his generous charm and graciousness and sense of humor. Ask our lucky models! They still haven't recovered from their date with the famous Sinatra.

Here are the photo caption texts:

At left - Joan Edwards, popular singer on the Hit Parade, stops to chat with our excited high-schoolers while they wait for Frank to finish his number. Joan likes pompadour hair-dos and suits that are softly feminine, rather than man-tailored.

Below - Laine Kantor, Nancy Frankel, and Sue Redwood, New York high-schoolers, all wear two-toned loafer jackets like the ones that Frank helped to popularize. These versions bear Joan Lord, Mademoiselle, and Derby labels, and come in teen sizes.

At right - Yes, there's your fashion editor, Nancy Pepper, discussing back-to-school clothes with Frank and two buyers for Official Headquarters stores, Miss Alice Crowthers of Lazarus, Columbus, and Miss Lillian Talmy of Gimbels, Milwaukee. How do you like Frank's coat?

Above - It's a Big Moment in sixteen-year-old Nancy Frankel's life when Frank adjusts her felt bow ties and admiress her sleeveless V-neck sweater by H-Girls. She's pretty busy herself, admiring Frank.
