I love caricatures! It catches a celebrity as no photograph or painted portrait can. It brings an artist's viewpoint to the forefront by exagerating certain features or traits.

During the 40s, when Sinatra was King of the World, many caricatures were created. Hopefully, I'll be able to track down more!

The earliest of about a dozen by the legendary Al Hershfeld dates from about 1946.

Sweden's Nerman was another premiere artist of the 20s-40s. This also dates from around 1946.

Sam Berman did this drawing for an NBC radio brochure (spotlighting Sinatra on Your Hit Parade).

Norkin did this outlandinsh cover for the Columbia album, Get Happy in 1955.
