December 19, 2000:
Another Christmas present for you: Silent Night 1945/91 Mix. Exactly 46 years apart, Sinatra recorded "Silent Night." Here is a special mix of the two recordings.

December 14, 2000:
Here's a Christmas present for you: One Minute Sinatra. All of Sinatra's first-run LP covers in about a minute! You can click on an album to stop the show, then click again to resume.
Updated the Links page to include Sandy Singer's Internet Sinatra music program.
More updates to the Radio page (mostly Sinatra's own shows) - like I said, these pages are under constant revision! Coming soon, more of the radio themes (courtesy of Ric Ross)

December 1, 2000:
It's Christmastime Again - and the return of 'Tis The Season, which contains information about Sinatra's holiday recordings and holiday radio & TV performances. New this year are several seasonal audio files. Enjoy and share the holiday spirit!

November 17, 2000:
Five new pages added to Stories From Vegas, including a two-parter about Willie Mosconi and Jackie Gleason. Must reading!
The Radio - Military page has had a major overhaul, with what promises to be a definitive listing of Sinatra's original AFRS programs.

September 24, 2000:
The Reprints page has been divided into two sections.
All of the great old articles now appear on the Articles web page, and a new page has been added for neat stuff from the hey-day of the Sinatra Fan Clubs.
This new page Fans now has the first issue of Swooners Digest, a letter from one fan to another and a picture of a fan club card. Enjoy the memories!
Additional updates were made to the Radio pages.

September 4, 2000:
The Radio page has finally been added.
It has been a lot of work getting these pages ready for display. Lots of information had to checked and visuals created. It's broken down into three major sections: Sinatra as Radio Star, As Guest Star, and the Military shows. A lot more work needs to be done but at least it's a start!
I hope you find it informative. Please don't hesitate to offer corrections/additions.
The timeline charts are kinda neat (if I say so myself). A quick glance will show you just how busy Frankie was in the 40s with all his radio appearances. In the near future, I will be adding a code to those dates where he was also in the recording studio.

September 2, 2000:
A new page, Services has been added.
Here, you can initiate a simple keyword search of the entire website, and subscribe to an "Update List" that will send you an email whenever the website is updated.
Hopefully, more "services" will be added in the future.
Also included on the Services page is a very brief Privacy Statement.

August 31, 2000:
The "Radio Pages" will be uploaded over the Labor Day weekend.
Meanwhile, I've added three new selections to the Audio page. “All Or Nothing At All,” recorded at The Hollywood Bowl on Aug 14, 1943 (yes, the famous 1st appearance), the ultra-rare ballad version of “I've Got You Under My Skin,” from 1967, and a stunning duet with fellow Jerseyite Tony Mottola on “As Time Goes By,” from 1986. Enjoy!

August 25, 2000:
While you're waiting for me to finish the "Radio Pages" (they're coming, I promise!), please take a look at some additions to Photos page. I've added some new book and record items.
Also in the works will a new "Services" page, with site-wide search capability, email notification of updates and a few other goodies.

July 31, 2000:
After problems with previous hosting concern, registered www.songsbysinatra.com and found a new home for the webdite: WestHost, a hosting company in Nevada! With the addded storage space, many things that I've wanted to do will be able to be done. Stay tuned!
Created the Audio and Radio Pages
Added new stories by Ed "The Pit Boss" Walters to the Stories From Vegas page
Updated many of the other pages, too.

February 18, 2000:
Updated the Links Page by adding a few new websites and deleting dead links.

February 9, 2000:
Completing the history the early Columbia albums, I've added the portion of my book that describes The Lost Albums Of Frank Sinatra and restores these 78 albums to their rightful place in the Sinatra canon.

February 4, 2000:
Motivated by a discussion of the early Columbia albums, I added a Columbia Album Conversion Table so that you recreate these six landmark albums.

January 16, 2000:
Added some magazine covers from the 40s to the Book Beat section.
Fixed a JavaScript bug in the On This Date section that effected Microsoft Internet Explorer users.

January 5, 2000:
Most of you have heard the song, Nancy (With The Laughing Face).
Here's an opportunity to see the sheet music and read an article about the little girl who was the inspiration for the song.

January 2, 2000:
Some major changes, including changing the name of the website to: Songs By Sinatra.
This was done to more closely relate the site and my book.
Redesign of the main page, and adding the teaser page (it's from a real pin, given out during a concert!)

Added "Composers Corner" to the Songs page, where you can look up Sinatra recording by composer. I couldn't fit them all in, so I selected what I felt were the more important ones.

Added some more old articles to the Reprint section, including one written by Bing Crosby!

Removed the 'Tis The Season link - see it next year!

November 28:
A major addition: Stories From Vegas - by "The Pit Boss"
These are an insider's stories about Sinatra, Las Vegas, The Summit and the others in the town that doesn't sleep,
as told by a former 21 "Pit Boss," Ed Walters.
Great stuff!

Both the On This Date... and Songs sections have been updated to include songs from the new CDs
The two aircheck CDs with Tommy Dorsey and the two live CDs from Artanis added several new songs and dates

And, just in time for the holiday season, 'Tis The Season lists the Sinatra Christmas songs and albums, along with a holiday card.

October 9:
Added two reprints of old articles:
E J Kahn's article from Look magazine (Aug 8, 1947) entitled "What Will Sinatra Do Next?"
and a section from a "red scare" phamplet called: Sinatra, Commie Playboy

Some new additions to the "Photos" section:
In Records: A picture of the rare 45, I Left My Heart In San Francisco
In Books: The cover to Frank Sinatra - Story In Pictures, from 1945
And, a new sub-section: Sheet Music (finally!)

And finally, this What's New page, so you can see what's been added!
